After returning from an early summer Europe tour, Goose kicked off their North American trek in Toronto on Saturday. The quartet welcomed guitarist Julian Lage to wrap up the show at RBC Amphitheatre.

Lage was on hand to perform with his band of bassist Jorge Roeder and drummer Kenny Wollesen. Following the band’s set, Goose kicked off their first frame with “Animal,” in which they fit “Flodown.” The first set also saw Goose offering their cover of David Gray's “Please Forgive Me” ahead of closer “Hungersite.”

The four-song second set got underway with a pairing of “Creatures” and “So Ready.” Lage then emerged beginning with “Travelers.” The jazz guitarist added some spicy riffage to the song released in 2023, and stuck around to help Goose seal the set with “This Old Sea.”

Julian also came aboard for the encore in Toronto. Goose selected the title track from their 2022 LP Dripfield for the finale. The collaboration saw Lage and guitarist Rick Mitarotonda swapping licks during a funky jam on “Dripfield.” Livestreams of Goose’s 2026 Summer Tour are available via nugs.
