Goose Closes Fall Tour In Indianapolis: Full Show Video

Goose ended their fall tour before a capacity crowd at The Mousetrap in Indianapolis on Saturday night. The Connecticut-based quartet mixed originals with a handful of choice covers during the tour closer.

The band kicked off their first of two sets in Indianapolis with a cover of Talking Heads’ “Crosseyed & Painless” they jammed into “Doc Brown.” Next up was a take on The Wood Brothers‘ “One More Day” ahead of the “Indian River”/”Madhuvan” pairing. Goose then began the second set with a “Drive” that bled into a cover of The Brothers Johnson’s “Get The Funk Out Of My Face.” More covers followed in the form of Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean” and “Boogie On Reggae Woman” by Stevie Wonder After closing the set with “Turned Clouds” and “So Ready,” Goose returned for an encore consisting of Tom Waits‘ “Christmas Card From A Hooker In Minneapolis” and the beloved original “White Lights.”
