Shaky Knees Music Festival :: 05.12-14.17 :: Centennial Olympic Park :: Atlanta, GA

Atlanta’s Centennial Olympic Park hosted the annual Shaky Knees Music Festival last weekend. Friday’s first day of action was capped with a performance by LCD Soundsystem that equally pulled from the band’s three LP’s as well as the two recently issued new singles “American Dream” and “Call The Police.” Day one also saw sets by Cage The Elephant, Pixies, Portugal. The Man, Wolf Parade, FIDLAR and others. Saturday’s diverse slate was topped by headliners The xx, X Ambassadors and Nick Murphy. The second day presented additional sets by Moon Taxi, Dr. Dog, Lewis Del Mar and Sylvan Esso, among several more.

Shaky Knees came to a close yesterday with a headlining Phoenix performance that included new material such as the singles “Ti Amo” and “J-Boy.” The Shins played Sunday as well, offering selections from throughout their career as well as newer tunes like “Name For You” and “Painting A Hole.” The final day was stacked with additional sets by Fruit Bats, Pond, J.
