Gomez Announces ‘Bring It On’ 20th Anniversary North American Tour
English rockers Gomez burst onto the scene with the success of their 1998 debut album Bring It On. Gomez will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the LP by reissuing the album and with a World Tour that includes a just-announced North American leg. The group is expected to perform Bring It On in its entirety at each tour stop.
The band begins the North American portion of the Bring It On 20th Anniversary Tour in Toronto on June 5. Gomez then plays Brooklyn, Boston and Washington, D.C. before heading south for performances in Asheville and Atlanta. Next up are shows in Nashville, Chicago, Aspen and Denver. A West Coast run includes stops in Oakland, Portland, Vancouver and Seattle.
On April 20, Gomez will release three different versions of Bring It On. There’s a limited-edition 4-CD Super Deluxe Boxed Set featuring the remastered album and 35 previously unreleased tracks including rare demos, BBC Sessions and a recording of their Glastonbury 1998 set. Also available will be limited-edition 2-LP red and yellow colored vinyl as well as a 2-LP standard edition on black vinyl. Head here for pre-order options.
Pre-sale and VIP ticket sales for the North American dates begin tomorrow at 10 a.m. local via the band’s website.
