Bay Area rockers Go By Ocean are gearing up for the release of their sophomore studio album, Sun Machine, on April 21. The band has recently unveiled the official video for the LP’s first single, “Ring Around The Sun.”
Go By Ocean vocalist/guitarist Ryan McCaffrey discussed the song with Vanyaland, “It’s an anthem proclaiming that even in the darkest of times, one can still look down the road to a better life. The title ‘Ring Around the Sun’ refers to the year I spent trying to redefine myself after ages in the abyss.” The band employed Ugly Pictures to direct the clip for “Ring Around The Sun” with a concept based on the lyric, “Somehow made my way to the light again, but the darkness never sleeps.”
