Masked Melbourne Trio Glass Beams Bring Sparkling Performance To KEXP

Seattle-based independent radio station KEXP shared footage of an in-studio performance recorded by Glass Beams. The session was filmed in May ahead of the trio’s sold-out concert at the Crocodile.

The masked, Melbourne-based trio was created by bassist Raajan Silva. The other two members of the mysterious group have not been publicly identified.

The Australian psychedelic groove rockers started their KEXP set with the title track to their 2021 debut EP, Mirage. The concealed musicians continued with two songs from their 2024 EP, Mahal, its title track and “Orb.” The in-studio performance came to an end with another Mirage selection, “Rattlesnake.”
