Ghost Light shared “The Healing,” the title track from their sophomore studio album, which arrives via Royal Potato Family on October 7. The members of the band star in a video for the song directed by Joe Lee and Christian Strevy.

The Healing was recorded at guitarist/vocalist Tom Hamilton‘s The Ballroom studio in Philadelphia late last year and early this year. Hamilton and bandmates guitarist/vocalist Raina Mullen, keyboardist Holly Bowling and drummer Scotty Zwang were joined by bassist Dan Africano on the follow-up to 2019’s Best Kept Secrets. Africano left Ghost Light shortly after the sessions with Taylor Shell tapped as the band's new bassist.

Ghost Light previously previewed the eight-track LP by releasing singles “Take Some Time” and “Don’t Say Goodnight Just Yet.” Hamilton and Mullen came up with the concept for “The Healing” video. Watch the end result here:

The quintet kicks off a tour in support of The Healing at Turf Club in St. Paul, Minnesota on Thursday, October 6. Click below for the full list of Ghost Light tour dates:
