Ghost Light Kicks Off Debut East Coast Tour At Brooklyn Bowl: Photos, Videos & Setlist

Ghost Light featuring guitarists Tom Hamilton and Raina Mullen, keyboardist Holly Bowling, drummer Scotty Zwang and bassist Steve Lyons returned to the road on Wednesday for the second leg of their debut tour. The five-piece opened the run at Brooklyn Bowl in New York City with a show that included some of the new originals they trotted out during the first leg as well as a handful of debuts.
Wednesday’s concert saw the band unveil their rendition of “A Simple Gift Of Man” from Hamilton’s Brothers Past days within the first set. The frame also included an untitled original referred to as “Drift” and the fitting “Streets Of Brooklyn” from Tom’s time in American Babies. Ghost Light’s second set featured a debut cover of The Rolling Stones’ “Sway” within the seamless stanza. The quintet ended the night by trotting out their first-ever take on the Dead’s “Jack Straw.” Photographer Andrew Blackstein was on hand to capture the action:
