Get Well Soon | B.B. King Cancels All Upcoming Performances

A statement from the guitarist’s reps reads, “Mr. King fell ill last night, Oct 3 2014 during his performance at the House of Blues in Chicago. He was immediately evaluated by a doctor and diagnosed with dehydration and suffering from exhaustion whereby causing the eight remaining shows of his current tour to be cancelled.” B.B. performances at his namesake club in NYC and visits to Montclair, NJ and Munhll, PA are among the gigs that have been cancelled.
Back in April, King issued an apology after an erratic performance in St. Louis. Here’s wishing the 89-year-old Mississippi native a quick recovery.
