George Porter Jr. & Runnin’ Pardners Share New Single ‘Crying For Hope’

George Porter Jr. & Runnin’ Pardners featuring acclaimed bassist George Porter Jr. released “Crying For Hope,” their first new studio recording in over five years. “Crying For Hope” is the title track of the band’s forthcoming full-length studio album, which is due out next month.
While Porter Jr. first came to fame as a member of The Meters, he’s spent his recent years focusing on performing and recording with Runnin’ Pardners. The band also features keyboardist Michael Lemmler, guitarist Chris Adkins and drummer Terrence Houston.
The single premiered as part of a StageIt livestream on George’s 73rd birthday, December 26th. “Crying For Hope” is now available on all digital streaming platforms.
