Genesis will reissue 13 of its albums on vinyl in the coming months. The records were originally released between 1971 and 1997.

Peter Gabriel, Tony Banks, Anthony Phillips and Mike Rutherford formed the prog-rock pioneering band Genesis in 1967 with the group’s early lineup cemented in the early ‘70s with the addition of Phil Collins and Steve Hackett. Frontman Peter Gabriel left Genesis in 1975 with drummer Phil Collins taking over as frontman until 1996.

The albums set for vinyl reissue span both the Gabriel and Collins eras and conclude with the band’s final studio album, 1997’s Calling All Stations with singer Ray Wilson. The records will arrive in waves with bundle releases set for August and September.

Press materials detailed the releases:

They begin on August 23 with Foxtrot, The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway (2LP), Duke, Abacab, and Genesis. On September 6, Nursery Cryme, Selling England By The Pound, Wind & Wuthering, We Can’t Dance (2LP), and Calling All Stations (2LP) will be released. The series concludes on September 27 with A Trick Of The Tail, …And Then There Were Three…, and Invisible Touch.

Genesis released 15 studio albums throughout its tenure. The albums not set for reissue are the band’s first two: 1969’s From Genesis to Revelation and 1970’s Trespass.
