Gary Numan Joins Beck In Chicago

Beck was Saturday’s headliner at the 2018 Riot Fest in Chicago. Also performing that day was Gary Numan, who later joined Beck’s performance to assist on the hit “Cars.”

The collaboration came during Beck’s encore, as part of a commonly played medley of covers that usually contains a snippet of “Cars,” while Beck introduces the band. Saturday at Douglas Park saw Numan emerge to perform a full-on rendition of his 1979 hit single. Watch the two acts team up on “Cars” via Debbi Andrews here:
