Gary Clark Jr. Announces Spring Tour 2019


Gary Clark Jr. is set to release his first full length album since 2015’s The Story of Sonny Boy Slim next year. Today, the guitar slinger has announced his first round of shows in support of the forthcoming record.

The 20-date run will kick off on March 9 at the Fillmore Miami Beach at The Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami Beach. The spring tour includes a number of multi-night stands as Clark Jr. will play two shows a piece in Boston and Chicago and spend three nights at New York City’s Beacon Threatre and the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. Additionally, the run includes stops in Tampa, Springfield (Missouri), Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Richmond, Durham and Charlotte. The public on-sale for the entire tour begins Friday, November 16 at 10 a.m. local time. Additionally, the musician has shared a teaser video for the album, which you can watch below:
