Gary Clark Jr. Among Newport Folk Festival 2018 Lineup Additions

The 2018 installment of the Newport Folk Festival will take place at Fort Adams State Park in Newport, Rhode Island between July 27 and 29. Organizers of the famed event continue to roll out this year’s lineup and the latest addition is guitar great Gary Clark Jr..

The Austin-based axeman is scheduled to perform on Sunday, July 29 at Newport Folk. Other acts confirmed so far are Sturgill Simpson, Rachael & Vilray, Fantastic Negrito, Bedouine, Colter Wall, Courtney Barnett, Tank & The Bangas, The War & The Treaty and The Weather Station. Look for additional Newport Folk ’18 artists to be announced in the weeks to come.
