Garth Brooks Sets 1st Shows Of Blame It All On My Roots Tour
The country star is returning to arena venues this August, kicking off a run in Indianapolis that marks 30 years since his original Drum Pod Tour.

Garth Brooks announced the Blame It All On My Roots Tour, an arena run arriving three decades after his landmark Drum Pod Tour. The country performer opens with two nights at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on August 21 and 22.
Brooks’ 1996 arena run, known as the Drum Pod Tour, produced the critically and commercially successful live album Double Live. The Blame It All On My Roots Tour will also serve as the basis for a new live recording titled, Killer Live. The shows will feature both end-stage and in-the-round seating.
“Going back into the arenas is about putting the stadium show in a box,” Brooks said. “The excitement gets multiplied by the intimacy. Every seat is a great seat. This is personal.”
General on-sale for the Indianapolis shows begins Friday, July 17 at 10 a.m. ET.
