Galactic Announces 2018 Winter Tour

New Orleans funk act Galactic typically tour hard at the beginning of each year. Next year will continue that trend as the band has just announced a coast-to-coast winter tour.

Galactic follows their annual appearance on Jam Cruise by kicking off the tour at the House Of Blues in Boston on February 15. The tour continues with stops in Philadelphia on February 16, Brooklyn on February 17, Fairfield on February 18 and Syracuse on February 20. Galactic then heads to the Midwest for February visits to Grand Rapids, Michigan on the 21st, Bloomington, Illinois on February 27 and Lexington on February 28.

March starts with a performance at The Rex Theatre in Pittsburgh on the 1st followed by two nights at Washington, D.C.’s 9:30 Club March 2 and 3. Galactic returns to the road for stops in St. Louis on March 15 and Kansas City on March 16. A Colorado run will find the band performing in Denver with Greyboy Allstars and Mile High Soul Club on March 17, Aspen on March 18 and Telluride on March 19. Then, Galactic heads to the Pacific Northwest for shows in Idaho, Washington and Oregon.

Galactic is currently slated to end the tour with a West Coast swing. The band plays Crystal Bay Casino in Crystal Bay, Nevada on March 25, Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas on March 27, Tempe’s Marquee Theatre on March 28 and the Belly Up in Solana on March 29. For the finales, Galactic teams with Turkuaz at the Fonda in Los Angeles on March 30 and San Francisco’s Warfield on March 31. Tickets for all shows are available via the band’s website.
