Futurebirds Release Official Video For Single ‘twentyseven’

Athens, Georgia-based rock band Futurebirds released their third studio album Hotel Parties via Easy Sound Recording Co. last September featuring the track “twentyseven.” Today, the band has shared the official video to its lead single off of the follow-up to 2013’s Baba Yaga.

“The video for ‘twentyseven’ is about the idea that some people have of a band’s touring life being this attractive, adventurous romantic thing,” said Futurebirds singer-guitarist Carter King. “Ninety percent of the existence is gross, boring unattractive stuff. So in the video we got to play the mega-fans having the truly luxurious day filled with nice clothes, high-end cars and fancy meals. Honestly, we just wanted to spend a day like that so we wrote it into the script.”
