‘The Funk Sessions’ March 2021 Concerts & Livestreams Features Members Of Turkuaz, The Motet & More

Hot on the heels of last weekend’s “The Funk Sessions” socially distanced concerts comes word of the March 2021 installments. Live For Live Music will present a two-night, four-show “The Funk Sessions” run at Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom in Denver on Thursday, March 11 and Friday, March 12. Livestreams of both late shows will be available.

“The Funk Sessions” March 2021 lineup features Turkuaz guitarist Craig Brodhead, The Motet keyboardist Joey Porter and saxophonist Drew Sayers, The Nth Power drummer Nikki Glaspie, Lettuce trumpeter Eric ‘Benny’ Bloom, The Main Squeeze vocalist Corey Frye and Jimmy Herring Band bassist Kevin Scott.

The early show on Thursday, March 11 will begin at 6:15 p.m. MT with the late show following at 9:15 p.m. MT. “The Funk Sessions” March 2021 closes out on Friday, March 12 with an early show starting at 6:45 p.m. MT and a late show scheduled for 9:45 p.m. MT. Links to watch the late shows will be sent to those who donate any amount at FunkSessions.com. Proceeds from the livestreams and a portion of ticket sales will go towards Conscious Alliance, “a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to supporting communities in crisis through hunger relief and youth empowerment.”
