Full Show Video Exclusive Premiere: Pigeons Playing Ping Pong Album Release Party

Baltimore-based electro-funk act Pigeons Playing Ping Pong celebrated the release of their new album Pleasure with a concert at the Fox Theater in Boulder, Colorado on April 1, the same day the record came out. For this special edition of Sunday Cinema, below is an exclusive premiere of pro-shot full show video of the concert thanks to Kontagium Productions.

Guitarists Greg Ormont and Jeremy Schon and bassist Ben Carrey are interviewed ahead of the show footage. The evening saw the band that also includes drummer Alex Petropulos play “Walk Outside,” “Bad For You,” “Fade Fest” and “Penguins” from Pleasure. The quartet also dropped a pair of Led Zeppelin covers within “Horizon,” among many other highlights in the over two-hour long set.

They also pulled off an April Fools’ Day prank while performing “Funk E Zekiel” which we’ll let you see for yourself. Watch the full show from the Fox below:
