In 1977 Queen released News Of The World, an album best known for its two rock anthems -“We Will Rock You” and “We Are The Champions” -that have since been played at many sporting events. News Of The World went four times platinum in the states and twice in the U.K. To promote the album Queen launched the News Of The World Tour in October ’77, which spanned 45 shows in North America and Europe. 
On December 11, 1977 Queen brought the News Of The World Tour to The Summit in Houston, TX. The show will professionally filmed and video has since circulated among fans. Last year a group of Queen fans unveiled a new version of the concert film that includes remastered audio. Over the course of 27 songs, the British rock legends deliver high-impact takes on many of their best-known hits such as “Tie Your Mother Down,” “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Killer Queen” and “Somebody To Love.” Watch Freddie Mercury and Co. live in Houston, 1977:
