Full Show Friday | New-To-YouTube Ween ’94 Show

Ween was the rare band with a liberal video taping policy, which led to many of the group’s performances being filmed. We received a tip from reader Dan Hogan that full show footage of Ween’s December 28, 1994 hometown show at John & Peter’s in New Hope, PA had just been uploaded to YouTube and had only garnered a handful of views. We hope to change that with today’s Full Show Friday column.

Dan shared the following note about the video, which we agree with, “John + Peter’s is my local watering hole and if you’ve ever been there you know the acoustics, well, they blow to put it nicely. This video actually has some pretty great sound and features some great versions of Ween Classics along with some great banter. The kicker is that as of right now it only has like 8 views. So I figured it deserved a lot more.” There’s plenty of tunes from our favorite two Ween albums: Pure Guava and Chocolate & Cheese and even a cover of “Freebird” featuring Ed Wilson, which unfortunately cuts early on in the performance. Check it out thanks to BoognishBockwinkle:
