Full Show Audio & Videos: Members Of Umphrey’s McGee & Aqueous Cover ‘Dookie’ At Brooklyn Comes Alive

Among the collaborative performances staged at last month’s Brooklyn Comes Alive two-day music festival was a tribute to Green Day featuring members of Umphrey’s McGee and Aqueous. Video and complete audio of the September 24 show at Music Hall of Williamsburg featuring a cover of the Green Day album Dookie and more have been posted.

Umphrey’s McGee bassist Ryan Stasik and drummer Kris Myers previously teamed with Aqueous guitarist Mike Gantzer to perform songs from Dookie at this year’s Summer Camp Music Festival. The Brooklyn Comes Alive set began with a song-for-song run through Green Day’s 1994 album, including rare lead vocals by Stasik on the bonus track “All By Myself.”

The trio also offered takes on Ween’s “It’s Gonna Be a Long Night,” Weezer’s “Undone – Sweater Song” and “Say It Ain’t So,” Nirvana’s “Breed” and others. Audio of the show taped by Eric McRoberts can be streamed below:
