Videos & Full Show Audio: Tedeschi Trucks Band Welcomes Amy Helm & The Handsome Strangers In Atlantic City
By Andy Kahn May 15, 2016 • 11:54 am PDT

Last night Tedeschi Trucks Band performed at the Adrian Phillips Theater At Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Opening act Amy Helm & The Handsome Strangers were brought out as special guests during the TTB main set, assisting on covers by George Jones and The Band.
As she’s done a number of times during the recent joint run of shows, Helm emerged to sit-in with Tedeschi Trucks Band mid-set for a take on Jones’ “Color Of The Blues,” harmonizing with Susan Tedeschi and Alecia Chakour. Members of The Handsome Strangers then joined in as Dan Littleton added guitar and Adam Minkoff added vocals to “It Makes No Difference” by Helm’s late father’s group The Band, marking the first time TTB has played the classic tune.
Taper edtyre has shared an audience recording of Saturday’s show, stream it here:
