Full Show Audio: Tedeschi Trucks Band Kicks Off Keswick Theatre Run

Last night, the Tedeschi Trucks Band began their latest round of touring with the first of three sold-out shows at the Keswick Theatre in Glenside, Pennsylvania. Derek Trucks, Susan Tedeschi and the rest of the 12-piece band delivered a 15 song set heavy on tunes from the group’s recently released Let Me Get By studio album.

The TTB kicked off the performance with Let Me Get By track “Don’t Know What It Means” before lighting into a cover of Derek And The Dominos’ “Keep On Growing.” After a handful of originals the TTB covered Elmore James’ “The Sky Is Crying” and a bit of the Beatles’ “Within You, Without You.” The highlight of the night came a few songs later with a scorching rendition of “Midnight In Harlem.” Derek always shines on his “Midnight In Harlem” solo, but seemed to take it up a few notches in Glenside. At the the end of the tune an audience member screams “what a band!” at the top of his lungs and we couldn’t agree more.
