Full Show Audio: TAUK Teams With Umphrey’s McGee In Dallas
By Andy Kahn Apr 24, 2016 • 9:27 am PDT

Last night was the final show of Umphrey’s McGee‘s tour with TAUK, as the two band’s appeared together one final time in Dallas, Texas. The concert at the House Of Blues featured all four members of TAUK joining UM for a 10-piece collaboration.
Umphrey’s McGee’s first set opened with the rarity “Lucid State” and saw Brendan Bayliss and Jake Cinninger break out acoustic guitars for takes on “Gone For Good” and “Uncle Wally.” After busting out Bob Marley’s “Walk The Proud Land” for just the second time since 2002 and first since 2014, all four members of TAUK – Alric “A.C.” Carter on keyboards, Charlie Dolan and Isaac Teel on percussion and Matt Jalbert on guitar – took the stage to form a decet led by Cinninger for a performance of UM’s “Booth Love.”
The second half of Umphrey’s McGee’s show began with “Bridgeless” > “2×2” followed by “Mulche’s Odyssey” and the rarely played Led Zeppelin cover “Kashmir.” UM dropped “Final Word” within “August” before closing the set with the ending of “Bridgeless.” The encore began with Teel joining Umphrey’s drummer Kris Myers and percussionist Andy Farag on the drums jam that led into the conclusion of “All In Time” to wrap up the rendition started earlier in the first set.
Audience recordings of both Umphrey’s McGee and TAUK’s appearances last night in Dallas have been shared by Don Olker and can be streamed below:
