By Scott Bernstein Mar 7, 2016 • 1:55 pm PST
On Saturday night, New Jersey jamgrass act Railroad Earth was joined by special guest Danny Louis of Gov’t Mule for portions of both sets at the PlayStation Theater in New York City. Louis last collaborated with the band back in November at Railroad Earth’s Horn O’ Plenty celebration.
Louis initially emerged towards the end of Railroad Earth’s first of two sets for “Goat” and “Seven Story Mountain.” The keyboardist returned for a large portion of the second set including “Elko,” “Bird,” “Mourning Flies,” “The Forecast,” “Mighty River” and “Chasin’ A Rainbow.” Danny also added trombone to “Like A Buddha.” Railroad Earth and Danny Louis teamed up to present an encore of “When The Sun Gets In Your Blood.” Pennsylvania’s Cabinet kicked off the show with an opening set.
