Fruition released a new single, “Whole World of Trouble.” The timely new track marks the Americana outfit’s first new music since releasing their acclaimed 2024 album, How To Make Mistakes.
How To Make Mistakes arrived on August 24. The band captured “Whole World of Trouble” while at a tour stop in Portland, Maine. Press materials described the new song as questioning “the state of our society, and if our social constructs have unified or divided the majority of people.”

“Fruition had one day off on our recent tour and we had the urgent need [to] record this song, so we used our precious down time to do just that,” guitarist Jay Cobb Anderson said. “We’re never gonna make it if we keep seeing each other as separate rather than one people. We are all human, and if we let politics, religion, class, isms or pride divide us, we will self-destruct. Compromise, understanding, and love is the only path to victory – or else we’re all headed for a whole world of trouble.”
