‘It All Comes Back’ To Fruit Bats On Breezy New Single

Fruit Bats, the long-running project of Eric D. Johnson, will release a new studio album, A River Running To Your Heart, through Merge Records on April 14. The track “It All Comes Back,” was shared as the latest preview of the 10th Fruit Bats record to date.
Johnson played guitars, keyboards, bass and drums while tracking A River Running To Your Heart at Panoramic House in Stinson Beach, California. Co-produced by Johnson and Jeremy Harris (who also handled engineering and mixing), the 11-track album was recorded with bassist David Dawda, keyboardist Frank LoCrasto, drummer/keyboardist Josh Adams and multi-instrumentalist Josh Mease.

Previously shared singles from the follow-up to 2021’s Pet Parade include “Waking Up In Los Angeles” and “Rushin’ River Valley.” Fruit Bats will tour in support of A River Running To Your Heart beginning on April 12 in Indianapolis and ending on May 27 in Vancouver.
