The singer-songwriters floated over a honky-tonk arrangement of the Everly Brothers classic.

Fruit Bats' Eric D. Johnson and singer-songwriter Cat Clyde counted as the guests on the latest episode of nationally syndicated radio program eTown. The artists teamed up to deliver a rendition of the Everly Brothers classic “Bye Bye Love.”
The song marked the highly influential Everly Brothers debut single in 1957. Husband-and-wife songwriting duo Felice and Boudleaux Bryant wrote “Bye Bye Love” and several other Everly songs, including hits “All I Have to Do Is Dream” and “Wake Up Little Susie.”
Eric D. Johnson and Cat Clyde came together alongside eTown hosts Nick and Helen Forster and the eTones house band to perform “Bye Bye Love” on the recent radio broadcast’s finale. The singer-songwriters fronted the ensemble, delivering The Everly Brothers iconic harmonies over a honky-tonk arrangement.
