Bay Area five-piece Front Country will soon embark on a lengthy Summer Tour that includes 33 shows in 13 U.S. states and three different countries. The band hits the road next week just after they’ve finished tracking their new record.
Front Country kicks off the tour with a series of shows in Colorado spanning June 8 – 12 that includes concerts in Fort Collins, Colorado Springs, Golden, Denver and Boulder. June also finds the band playing shows in Missouri, Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee. This July, the quintet has performances scheduled for North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Georgia, Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York before they head to Alaska for Cordova Bluegrass Camp.
The band has two trips to Europe scheduled with the first taking place at the end of July as they’ll play France’s Country Rendez Vous on July 31 followed by La Roche Bluegrass Festival in La Roche, France on August 6. Front Country returns stateside for three performances in Washington between August 12 – 15 before heading to the U.K. for a series of late summer gigs focusing on festival appearances.
