Free Oak Street Block Party During New Orleans Jazz Fest

The Oak Street Block Party will return for its second year on Wednesday, April 29 in the Uptown neighborhood of New Orleans. Oak Street Block Party will feature music on three stages (two outdoors and one inside The Maple Leaf) from noon to 7 p.m. on April 29.

A supergroup dubbed Oak Street All-Stars will headline the event with a cast of musicians including Oteil Burbridge, Kofi Burbridge, Roosevelt Collier, Adam Deitch, Adam Smirnoff, Jesus Coomes, Ryan Zoidis, Maurice Brown and Natalie Cressman. Performing throughout the day is Leftover Salmon, The Nth Power, Kung Fu, The Heard, Eddie Roberts West Coast Sounds, Sonic Bloom and Hard Proof.

Admission is free and the event is open to the public, but VIP tickets are also available. Proceeds will benefit the Oak Street Community, and WWOZ radio will be onsite collecting donations for the station.
