Fred Armisen & Bill Hader’s Talking Heads Parody Band Releases Album

Last night, IFC premiered the long awaited episode of Bill Hader and Fred Armisen’s Documentary Now! featuring a riff on the famed Talking Heads concert film Stop Making Sense. In the episode Hader and Armisen are members of Test Pattern, a Talking Heads-esque group. Today the comedians/musicians have released a real album of Test Pattern tunes.

The Test Pattern album is dubbed Final Transmission, which is also the name of the Documentary Now! episode. Last night’s full episode is available here. The music featured on Final Transmission was included within the episode. Stream the new Test Pattern LP, Final Transmission:
