The trailer for the Frank Zappa documentary, Zappa, is here. The clip offers the official first look at the highly anticipated film set for release on Friday, November 27
Alex Winter of Bill & Ted fame directed the long-awaited doc and received “unfettered access to the Zappa family trust and all archival footage,” as per a statement. The Zappa Family Trust is headed by Frank’s son and Zappa co-producer Ahmet Zappa. The film gives an intimate look inside the music and mind of the legendary artist with insight from Frank’s widow Gail Zappa as well as his collaborators including Mike Keneally, Ian Underwood, Steve Vai, Pamela Des Barres, Bunk Gardner, David Harrington, Scott Thunes, Ruth Underwood, Ray White and more.
