Foxygen Shares Video For New Single ‘On Lankershim’

Alt-rock duo Foxygen are set to issue their new studio album Hang via the Jagjaguwar record label next week. Sam France and Jonathan Rado have shared a video for the single “On Lankershim” which appears on the record out on January 20.

Recording for the first time in a proper studio environment, Rado and France recruited a 40+ piece symphony orchestra conducted by Spacebomb’s Trey Pollard for each of the album’s eight tracks, with arrangements provided by Matthew E. White. The all-analog recording sessions for Hang were held at Electro Vox Studios In Los Angeles.

The follow-up to 2014’s double album …And Star Power features contributions from The Flaming Lips’ Steven Drozd and Lemon Twigs members Brian D’Addario and Michael D’Addario. Check out the lo-fi official video for “On Lankershim” as well as the video for the Hang single “Follow The Leader” below:
