Upstate New York-based jam act Formula 5 confirmed their summer plans including a mix of headlining dates and festival appearances. The band has also lent their name to a Ben & Jerry’s shake available at four New York State scoop shops and as reported will headline and host their own festival.
Up next for Formula 5 is a performance at The Skinny Pancake in Burlington on June 22 as part of a book release party for 100 Things Phish Fans Should Know & Do Before They Die presented by CashOrTrade. Formula 5 will then host and perform at the inaugural Rock The Dock Festival on July 13 on the dock of the Lake George Steamboat Company in Lake George, New York. Soule Monde, Strange Machines and Let’s Be Leonard round out the lineup.

F5 continues the tour in Alexandria Bay, New York on July 27 and then perform as part of an official Tumble Down festival afterparty that also features Hayley Jane & The Primates at Nectar’s in Burlington on July 28. The band will keep busy in August with performances in the North Carolina cities of Corolla and Duck, a visit to Williamsport, a show in Amityville, a Curveball pre-party in Watkins Glen and stops in Bridgewater Corners, Vermont and Bridgeport, Connecticut. Finally, Formula 5 will appear at the Adirondack Music Festival in Lake George, New York on September 1 and 2.
Ben & Jerry’s scoop shops in Albany (Madison Avenue), Saratoga Springs, Lake George and Watkins Glen are selling The Formula 5 Flavor Shake. The shake combines Cherry Garcia, Totally Baked and Phish Food ice creams with milk and mini M&Ms.
