Former Beatles Ringo Starr & Paul McCartney Reunite For Recording Session

The two surviving Beatles, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, came together on Saturday for a recording session. Billboard confirmed with Starr’s publicist that McCartney was on hand to contribute to Ringo’s forthcoming album.
Ringo broke the news of the session via a Tweet that included a photo of the pair and the caption, “Thanks for coming over man and playing Great bass. I love you man peace and love.”
Starr also took to Twitter to reveal Joe Walsh took part in the session. Walsh’s is Ringo’s brother-in-law.
Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr last recorded together for Ringo’s 2010 studio album Y Not. Watch the pair perform “Hey Jude” at the 2014 Grammys:
