Foo Fighters Welcome Jack Black, Haim & Stevie Nicks

There was a long period of time Foo Fighters would play similar setlists every night, but in recent years Dave Grohl & Co. have aimed to make each show special by working in covers, bust outs and guests. Last night at The Forum near L.A. the band welcomed a batch of special guests for fun covers.

Foo Fighters have a long history with Jack Black dating back to the actor’s appearances in the group’s videos and Grohl’s contributions to the formative years of Tenacious D. Last night at The Forum Black was the latest special guest to front Foo Fighters on a cover of Rush’s “Tom Sawyer.” Watch how the partial cover went down via Brian James:

Black wasn’t the evening’s only guest as Foo Fighters were joined by Stevie Nicks and the ladies of Haim for “Stop Dragging My Heart Around” and “Gold Dust Woman.” Watch video of each thanks to Brian James:
