Foo Fighters Welcome Gary Clark Jr. & Perry Farrell

By Scott Bernstein Sep 23, 2015 6:30 am PDT

After bringing out Jack Black, Stevie Nicks and Haim on the first night of their two-night stand at The Forum in Inglewood, Foo Fighters still had a few tricks up their sleeves for Tuesday’s finale. Dave Grohl and Co. welcomed three more guests to share the stage last night including two members of Jane’s Addiction.

The first guest to come out was Jane’s bassist Chris Chaney who was a longtime bandmate of Foo’s drummer Taylor Hawkins in Alanis Morrissette’s band and as a member of side project Taylor Hawkins and the Coattail Riders. Chaney helped out on “Cold Day In The Sun,” which Taylor sings at many Foo Fighters shows. Later in the evening Gary Clark Jr. emerged to add guitar to the tour debut of Sonic Highways track “What Did I Do?/God As My Witness.” Watch the first video to emerge of Clark Jr.’s guest spot:

Towards the end of the show Foo Fighters brought out Jane’s Addiction frontman Perry Farrell for two of his band’s most famous songs – “Been Caught Stealing” and “Mountain Song.” Watch fan-shot footage of each thanks to Brian James:

Foo Fighters tour continues tomorrow night in Chula Vista.
