Foo Fighters Cancel All Tour Dates

Foo Fighters canceled their upcoming tour dates following the tragic death of drummer Taylor Hawkins. Taylor died on Friday in Bogotá, Colombia at age 50.

“It is with great sadness that Foo Fighters confirm the cancellation of all upcoming tour dates in light of the staggering loss of our brother Taylor Hawkins,” wrote the band in a statement announcing the news. “We’re sorry for and share in the disappointment that we won’t be seeing one another as planned. Instead, let’s take this time to grieve, to heal, to pull our loved ones close, and to appreciate all the music and memories we’ve made together.”

Foo Fighters were slated to have a busy year in 2022. Beale Street, Jazz Fest, Boston Calling, Rock In Rio Lisbon and Aftershock were among the festivals at which the band was scheduled to perform. Additionally, the group had confirmed headlining dates in the U.S., Canada, Europe, the UK, Australia and New Zealand.
