Foo Fighters Mash Up John Lennon’s ‘Imagine’ & Van Halen’s ‘Jump’

In 2010, mashup artist Mighty Mike combined the music from John Lennon’s “Imagine” with David Lee Roth’s vocals from Van Halen’s “Jump” and they surprisingly fit well together. Foo Fighters were inspired by Mighty Mike’s mashup and brought “Imagine/Jump” to the live stage in Brazil.

Dave Grohl & Co. hinted at the forthcoming addition to their live set with a video posted to their official YouTube channel under the title, “Woodshedding for the summer tour has never felt so good.” Watch Foo Fighters rehearsing the mashup:

The “Imagine/Jump” mashup first made the setlist on Friday night in Curitiba, Brazil. Foo Fighters also played the mashup last night in Porto Alegre. Here’s fan-shot video of the debut thanks to Rose Dombroski:
