Foo Fighters Announce 1st Concert At Madison Square Garden Since March 2020

On June 20, Foo Fighters will become the first act to perform a concert at New York City’s Madison Square Garden in over 460 days. Dave Grohl and company will play a full-capacity show for vaccinated fans as rock returns to the venue for the first time since the pandemic began in March of 2020.

“We’ve been waiting for this day for over a year,” said Dave Grohl in a statement. “And Madison Square Garden is going to feel that HARD. New York, get ready for a long ass night of screaming our heads off together to 26 years of Foos.”

“The Garden is ready to rock. We’ve been waiting for this moment for 15 months and are excited to finally welcome a packed house of roaring, fully-vaccinated Foo Fighters fans to Madison Square Garden,” added James Dolan, Executive Chairman and CEO of MSG Entertainment.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, June 11 at 10 a.m. ET via Ticketmaster.
