The 2023 installment of FloydFest has been canceled. Organizers made the announcement one week after revealing they were on a search for a new location as the previously announced site was “not currently viable for a 2023 festival.”

FloydFest 23~Forever was originally scheduled to take place at FestivalPark in Floyd County, Virginia July 26 – 30. My Morning Jacket, The Black Crowes, Sheryl Crow and Goose were slated to headline.

“To ensure that our beloved patrons receive the best FloydFest experience possible, and to protect the FloydFest vibe that means so much to so many, we have made the difficult decision to cancel FloydFest 2023, after a review and thorough vetting of multiple alternative options,” wrote organizers in announcing the cancelation.

Producers vowed to stage FloydFest 2024 next July at FestivalPark. “Make zero mistake — FloydFest is not going anywhere,” organizers added. “We hope to see each of you, our FloydFest Family, in July 2024, as we christen your new home, FestivalPark. The outpouring of love, understanding and support we received last week following our initial announcement was extraordinary, and we will never forget it. We love our #FloydFestFamily so very much.”

Ticketholders can either rollover their tickets to 2024 or request a refund. Head here for more information. Those will tickets must inform organizers of which option they will take by May 5 or tickets will be automatically rolled over to 2024.
