Fleet FoxesRobin Pecknold appears in the latest installment of NPR Music’s Tiny Desk (Home) Concert series. Pecknold played a batch of songs from the 2020 Fleet Foxes album, Shore.

Playing acoustic guitar, Pecknold’s solo set began with “Going-to-the-Sun Road.” He then stopped to address those watching and listening.

“Hi NPR, I’m Robin Pecknold from Fleet Foxes,” Pecknold said. “Thank you so much for asking me to find the tiniest desk I could, and sing unadorned for the first time in too long. It was a lot of fun putting songs together for this. And I’m excited for real shows and contact, but this is so fun, so thank you.”

Dedicating the next song to friends, Pecknold then played his tribute to David Berman, Richard Swift and others, “Sunblind.” The mini-concert concluded with the Shore tracks “Featherweight” and “I’m Not My Season.”
