The Flaming Lips Extend ‘Yoshimi’ Anniversary Tour Into Spring 2024
The band will play their Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots album from front-to-back at each stop.
The Flaming Lips will continue to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their iconic Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots album next spring. The band confirmed four new headlining tour dates in which they will perform the 2002 record in its entirety with the promise of more dates to come.
The run will start with a concert at the Florida Theatre in Jacksonville, Florida on April 20. Next comes an appearance at the 2024 High Water Festival in North Charleston, South Carolina on April 21.
After a day off, The Flaming Lips will celebrate Yoshimi at the Avondale Brewing Company in Birmingham, Alabama on April 23 and at New Orleans’ Saenger Theatre on April 24. The last of the new dates announced today is a show at Adderley Amphitheater in Tallahassee, Florida on April 26.
