The Flaming Lips yesterday announced the upcoming release a new album entitled Oczy Mlody via Warner Bros. Records. Set to be issued on frontman Wayne Coyne’s birthday on January 13, the first single “The Castle” has been shared from the album produced by The Flaming Lips and regular collaborator Dave Fridmann.

The Flaming Lip last solo studio album of new material was 2013’s The Terror. They recently issued the collaborative, guest-filled covers album With a Little Help from My Fwends that re-created The Beatles LP Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. The Lips also backed Miley Cyrus on her 2015 album Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz. Coyne will participate in a live Q&A on the band’s official Facebook page starting at 1:00 p.m. ET today, Friday, October 21.
