The Flaming Lips Perform ‘Race For The Prize’ In Bubbles On ‘Colbert’

The Flaming Lips were musical guests on Wednesday’s episode of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. The #PlayAtHome performance of “Race For The Prize” saw the band performing inside individual bubbles.

Frontman Wayne Coyne has performed inside a large clear bubble during Flaming Lips shows since 2004. For their appearance on The Late Show, the rest of the mask-wearing band also socially distanced themselves inside their own bubble. An audience – also in bubbles – danced in front of the group while they performed.
