The Flaming Lips & Mac DeMarco To Issue Split EP

Upcoming tour mates The Flaming Lips and Mac DeMarco are purportedly working on a split EP. The release is expected to feature each act covering three of the other act’s songs.
The Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne revealed the project was in the works via a post on Instagram. The shared video clip captured the band working up an arrangement of DeMarco’s “Chamber Of Reflections” from the 2014 Salad Days album. The post indicated “the Mac DeMarco afternoon delight ensemble” was preparing to record three songs originally done by The Lips.
