Feist performed a Tiny Desk Concert for NPR Music. The session was the first appearance by the Canadian singer-songwriter on the long-running live performance series.

Guitarist/vocalist Leslie Feist was backed by a collective of musicians each with their own impressive pedigree. Andrew Barr of The Slip and The Barr Brothers played drums. Solo singer-songwriter Rose Droll played keyboards. Todd Dahlhoff who frequently works with Devendra Banhart and Meshell Ndegeocello played bass. Amir Yaghmai of The Voidz played violin and guitar.

The four-song set interwove two selections from Feist’s 2023 album Multitudes, with two tracks from her 2011 album, Metals. The Multitudes song “In Lightning” came first, followed by “Caught A Long Wind” from Metals. “Hiding Out In The Open” from last year’s release and the Metals track “The Bad in Each Other” rounded out the performance.
