Soaring To New Heights: The Fearless Flyers Announce ‘V’ Album, Drop ‘Flyers Crusade’

The Fearless Flyers return with The Fearless Flyers V, an eight-song collection currently available for pre-order on vinyl through Diggers Factory. The supergroup previewed the set by sharing its lead single, “Flyers Crusade.”

The quartet consists of Vulfpeck bassist Joe Dart and guitarist Cory Wong along with renowned drummer Nate Smith and guitarist Mark Lettieri. V will be the first Fearless Flyers’ album released on Wong’s Roundwound Media, LLC label after past efforts came out via Vulf Records.

V is the follow-up to 2024’s The Fearless Flyers IV, an EP recorded live at The Blue Note in New York City. Cory Wong produced the forthcoming release with recording engineer Miles Hanson and mastering engineer Noam Wallenberg.

The deliciously funky “Flyers Crusade” is an infectious instrumental. Wong plays the lead melody with Lettieri on rhythm and a lockstep groove laid down by Dart and Smith.

The Fearless Flyers V vinyl has an estimated ship date of August 2025. The limited-edition first pressing is on translucent turquoise blue vinyl.
