Father John Misty Shares New Song ‘Mr. Tillman’

Father John Misty has issued a new song entitled “Mr. Tillman.” The single issued by Sub Pop was accompanied by a music video directed by Brad Strickman.

Frontman Josh Tillman led a debut live performance of “Mr. Tillman” during a recent Father John Misty concert in Japan. Last year, Sub Pop issued the third Father John Misty album Pure Comedy. During a concert in Australia last July, Tillman told an audience a follow-up to that album was coming in 2018.

Tillman is credited on the new somewhat-self-titled track with tambourine, guitar, bass module and drums along with Jon Titterington who provided piano, synth and glockenspiel. Check out the video for “Mr. Tillman” below:
